About Us ISA TanTec is a tannery group dedicated to producing premium leathers designed for rugged outdoor, casual and work footwear for men and women, servicing major European and North American footwear brands. The group: Guangzhou TanTec Leather - Guangzhou, China - 550 workers producing monthly 1.6 million square feet of leathers for footwear and 1.2 million square feet for the automotive industry. Saigon TanTec Leather - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - 250 workers producing monthly 1.2 million square feet of leathers for footwear.• In response to demands for eco friendly leather solutions ISA TanTec introduced its LITE® (Low Impact to The Environment) Leather, an innovative concept with the goal of achieving permanent environmental optimization for the entire production process. The concept is based on accounting for the CO2 emissions per unit of leather produced. Daily monitoring of water and energy consumption shows how environmental conservation measures impact the carbon footprint.
